Cahuita National Park

The National Park of Cahuita on the Carribean side of Costa Rica was created in 1970, and is part of the extensive system of wildlife protection which is the hallmark of that country. It includes 2,700 acres of tropical rainforest abutting a coral reef) containing an enormous range of biodiversity. You can see the vegetation bursting with life, and view animals such as this sweet three-toed mother sloth with her baby. (Btw, the three-toed sloths are the ones with shorter fur and the famous smiley faces and they really are adorable and amazing).
